Dear Applicant :
Greetings! Thank you for your interest in spending this summer at Luther Point Bible Camp. The summer of 2010 could be one of the best summers of your life! Joining with about 40 other enthusiastic and amazing young adults, you will have the wonderful opportunity to positively influence the lives of thousands of youth throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin – and you will have a blast doing so!
Everything you need to complete in order to be considered for a summer staff position is in this packet. For more detailed information on job descriptions click here. Please return your completed application as soon as possible. In order to be considered for a position, all reference letters must be received by Luther Point and an interview must be conducted. Interviews are held from January – March. Face to face interviews are highly preferred, but phone interviews are acceptable if necessary.
There are several different ways in which you could serve this summer. The major staff roles and their main responsibilities are:
Senior Team Member Spend the week as the counselor and friend of 8-10 campers Help lead Bible studies, worships, and games Travel to a congregation to help lead a Day Camp | Junior Team Member Spend the week assisting a senior counselor with 8-10 campers Help lead Bible studies, worships, and games Travel to a congregation to help lead a Day Camp | Outpost/Off-Site Guide Spend the week camping in tents and cooking your own meals in Outpost with a group of campers Off-Site trips include Canoe Trips, Road and River, and Lake Superior Sea Kayaking |

This could be a wonderful summer for you and for those you would minister to in our Luther Point community. You will learn more about yourself than you ever thought you could, and you will create life-long memories while doing so. Most importantly, you will be living out the mission of God in the world through the sharing of the beautiful news of Jesus Christ with countless youths and adults.
