Outpost and Canoe Programs
Do
you enjoy camping and exploring nature? If so, then these program will
be an exciting adventure for you. You get an opportunity to cook over
campstoves and bonfires; sleep in tents; participate in worships; swim;
canoe; bible study; star gaze; and explore the natural world with your
counselors.
Several different camps are offered:

Emphasis is placed on gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of God's beautiful creation. Throughout the week campers will gain wilderness survival skills including: outdoor cooking, firebuilding, knot tying and pitching a tent. They will also experience wildlife education in the areas of: wildlife and flora identification, and through the building of bird houses. We invite you to come and experience God's love through community and creation.
A full-week program for youth entering 5th-6th
grades and 7th-9th grades. This program runs Sunday through Friday. Click here for details on schedule and costs.

Come experience adventure and God's beautiful creation on the St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers. While canoeing down the river, bald eagles, deer, and various other wildlife have been seen by groups in the past. It has been reported that a quiet group once saw a wolf fleeing into the trees on the riverbank as they canoed past. Canoers get an opportunity to cook over campstoves and bonfires; sleep in tents; set-up and take-down camp; participate in worships; swim; bible study; star gaze; and explore the natural world with their counselors and friends (both old and new).
A full-week program for youth entering 7th-9th grade. This program runs Sunday through Friday. A low impact canoe experience. The first part of the week is spent at LPBC learning canoeing skills. You spend the next three days and two nights canoeing 30-45 miles.

A full-week program for youth entering 7th-9th grade or or for 9-12 grade; runs Sunday through Friday. This camp is designed for youth that have some canoeing experience. You spend four days and three nights canoeing 50-60 miles.

A full-week program for youth entering 9th-12th grade; runs Sunday through Friday. This camp is designed for youth that are more experienced canoers. You spend five days and four nights canoeing 80-90 miles.
