BEGINNING HORSE CAMP (for campers entering 5th and 6th grades)

• Jun 13-18 (2 Groups)

Learn about horses and at the same time learn more about yourself and your relationship with the Savior and others. Campers will learn to groom and saddle their horse, how to steer and stop their horse, mounting and dismounting including emergency dismount. There will be some trail riding and arena games like Red Light-Green Light and Around the World. Will not go faster than a trot. You will still participate in many other camp activities.

Below is a tentative schedule for Horse Camp for those of you interested in knowing how much "Horse-time" vs "other time" you will have! (Groups 1 and 2 switch every other day.)

  10:00 – Stable Time – Group 1, Bible Study – Group 2
  11:00 – Stable Time – Group 1, Nation Time – Group 2
  12:00 - Lunch
  12:45 - Quiet Time
  1:30 - Free Time begins
  2:30 - Canteen open
  3:30 – Stable Time – Group 2, Free Time – Group 1
  5:30 – Supper
  6:15 – Bible Study – Group 1
  7:15 - Worship
  8:15 – International Activity
  9:00 - Canteen
  9:45 –Campfire
  Devotions & Lights Out!

Mom, Dad and other important people are welcome to join your camper at Closing Campfire. Come share what they learned at Camp!

Canteen will be open when you drop your camper and when you pick your camper up. It will also be open during the week for your camper.
