Camp Sunday Worship
Today is Camp Sunday here at (insert your congregation’s name). As our congregation’s Ambassador to Luther Point I am pleased to welcome you to worship today. Throughout this time of worship we will be experiencing parts of the service which center on the 2008 summer theme at Luther Point, Just for Life! This theme focuses on God’s justice, which is giving, forgiving, and life-changing. This justice will be explored through the parables in which Jesus taught us to care for the last, the lost, the least, the little and the lifeless.
Following worship you will have the opportunity to register for the camp program of your choice. Open your eyes, open your ears and open your hearts to God’s justice and to the opportunities that await each of you at Luther Point Bible Camp.

Opening litany:
Leader: As we gather together today for worship, we do so as sinners. We also gather as the people of God who know that God’s forgiveness is abundant. We don’t need to flaunt our abilities or be arrogant about what we have done because we know that all we have and all that we have been given is a gift from God. Join me in an opening litany thanking God for all that he has done for us.
Leader: Our God has heard the sinner’s cry.
Congregation: Thanks be to God.
Leader: Our God has promised forgiveness to sinners.
Congregation: Thanks be to God.
Leader: Our God has called each one of us to be his own child.
Congregation: Thanks be to God.
Leader: Our God has lifted up the Last, Lost, Least, Little, and Lifeless.
Congregation: Thanks be to God.
Leader: Our God has called them to be First, Found, Great, Strong, and Powerful.
