Greetings Returning Staff,
Thank you for interest in serving the Luther Point community again in 2012. I invite you to
prayerfully consider your call to serve once again at camp this summer. You are fully aware of the blessing a summer at Luther Point is, and I have no doubt this summer will be any different. What an opportunity we have to further build up the faith lives of countless youth and adults together as a staff.
You can find all of the application info in the links below. Please return your completed application as soon as possible. In order to be considered for a position, all reference letters must be received by Luther Point and an interview must be conducted – this includes former staff. Interviews are held from January – March. Face to face interviews are highly preferred, but phone interviews are acceptable if necessary. Also, previous employment does not guarantee employment this summer. Our community is one that needs a balance of returning and new staff.
If you wish to be considered for a Team Leader Position your application must be postmarked on or before Friday, February 3rd. The following bonuses are available for returning staff members:
Referrals – Returning staff are the best recruiters! If you invite a friend to work at Luther Point and they are hired as a team member and complete their entire term of employment you will receive a $50 bonus in your final summer paycheck. You can receive multiple referral bonuses, so start inviting! Word of mouth is the best recruiting tool!
Early Application – Summer may seem far off but there is an advantage to applying early. Any returning staff member whose application is postmarked on or before January 13th will receive $150 in their last summer paycheck. Bonuses only apply to staff that are hired back and complete their entire term of employment.
A Note About 2012 Positions: You will notice a rather significant change in our TL structure for this summer. Please read the job descriptions carefully if you are considering a TL position. These changes will be addressed more in detail at the summer staff reunion or if you have any questions before or after the reunion, please contact me. Also, we will not be hiring specific Day Camp Coordinators this spring, but rather will selecting them when summer begins.
