Summer 2012—Put Us on Your Calendar Moms: This is a special word to our moms who are beginning to look ahead to the summer of 2012. The camp schedule is on the Luther Point website: lutherpoint.org. Online registration is available now (Jan. 1) so register early, especially for the specialty camps, like horse camp, guitar, drama, etc. these programs fill up early. Once again there will be a number of incentives and discounts, so take advantage! Camperships will also be available. Look for the Campership request form on the webpage: lutherpoint.org. Summer brochures will be coming out in mid-January.
Introducing the “Memorial and Honor Program” Luther Point is offering a way to help recognize those special events and dates in life. We will send a card to a loved one or a friend recognizing their special day on your behalf. Honor a person with a gift to Luther Point for a birthday, anniversary, confirmation, wedding, baptism, get well and more. Give a gift in memory of someone as well. Go to our website, www.lutherpoint.org and click on Donate, click Send a Card. Follow the prompts, give a gift via credit card and Luther Point will send a personal hand written card to the person(s) you are recognizing. This new giving opportunity is available now.

Advent Fellowship & Cookie Baking Retreat Recap: Cookies, cookies, cookies!! We had two wonderful weekends both at Luther Point and Luther Park on December 3 & 10. We had over 20 people at both sites to spend an entire day baking holiday cookies and visiting with old and new friends. This event was definitely a hit, especially with the youth who came along to share in a time of fellowship and learning how to bake. Thanks for coming out to be with us a camp!
Calling All Team Members: Calling all enthusiastic and spirit-filled young adults looking for an adventure of a lifetime! Starting NOW! Luther Point is looking for the 2012 Summer Staff. Especially check out our Wish List: You can now go online and order wish list items directly from Amazon.com and have the items shipped directly to the camp. PLEASE NOTE: We are still looking for good used vehicles, preferably mini-vans or mid-size sedans. We have some older vehicles that are showing their wear and tear.
