Luther Point’s Summer Celebration: Sunday August 4: Mark your calendars now to join us for the annual Craft / Quilt Auction and Summer Celebration on Sunday August 4th. We are looking for individuals to create and donate items such as artwork, wood-crafted items, quilts, other crafts, theme baskets and more for the Auction and Silent Auction. 12th Annual Golf Scramble: Come join us on Monday, June 24, 2013 for a day of fun, relaxation and fellowship to help raise funds for the Campership Fund. Camp is For ALL AGES: Camp is not just for youth. Luther Point has many Multi-Generational Programs, Grandparent / grandchild, Weekend Family Camp, Father / Son Canoe Trip, Women’s Outdoor Retreat, Camp Serve Grow, Young Adult Servant Weekend and Weeklong Family Camp. Storm Shelter– HIGH PRIORITY: Additional fundraising is under way with added urgency. The camp is seeking major gifts and pledges to reach the final goal of an additional $535,000. The Camp Board and the Association Membership are committed to seeing this project completed. The revised focus is on a re-designed Storm Shelter and renovation work on Luther Lodge and three Camper Cabins. HELP US TO MAKE THIS BECOME A REALITY.

Environmental Education Pavilion: A new structure is going up this spring over in the Meadow in the Woods section of camp. An open pole shed design with screen protection all around to hold off the mosquitoes and deer flies. The pavilion will overlook the newly established prairie grass field that was planted a few years ago. This building is made possible because a grant from the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America with the specific purpose of providing Environmental Education opportunities for individuals participating in Lutheran Outdoor Ministries across the country.
