BOATING:
There are two pontoons, a number of Paddle Boats, and a number of Canoes available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. These can be used only while wearing a properly fitting lifejacket and depending on the weather.

There are life jackets for adults and youth. You must bring your own lifejackets for small children.

FISHING
Fishing is an excellent in Wood Lake. You can fish from a dock, from a paddle boat or a canoe.

You will need a WI fishing license.
There is no fishing from the swimming docks.

You will need to bring your own fishing gear.

PRIVATE SWIMMING BEACH:

From Labor Day to Memorial Day the swimming beach is open for Retreaters and Campers depending on weather. There is a shallow-end and a deep-end and a lot of warm sand as you can see.

No swimming unless a lifeguard is present. To swim in the deep-end you have to pass a swimming test administered by the lifeguard.

Sundays the beach is closed.
During the weeks we are running Bible camp the beach is open Mon. - Thurs. during free time in the afternoon for Retreaters and Campers. It is usually open for Retreaters on Friday evening and all day on Saturday depending on Individual programming for the Retreat you are coming to.
