What is Canteen Money?
The Canteen is our camp store. It is open on Sundays & Fridays during registration and pick-up. We offer a variety of clothing, snacks, drinks & personal items. Click here to view a price list.
What do I do with my Canteen money?
- At check-in, you or your child will deposit Canteen money into the camper’s account. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.
- The Canteen account will be managed electronically using our accounting software.
- When your child makes a purchase at the canteen, the appropriate amount is deducted from their account.
- At the end of your child’s program, any balance remaining in the Canteen account is reimbursed in the Dining Hall.
Frequently Asked Canteen Card Questions:
What if my child does not spend all of the money on his/her canteen cards? Canteen Reimbursement occurs at the end of each program in the Dining Hall. Simply bring your camper to the Dining Hall and any unspent money will be reimbursed.
Can my child bring cash to keep in his/her belongings and not turn into the Canteen account? No, they may not. The canteen account are designed to eliminate the possibility of theft or loss and keeping cash with them defeats this purpose.
How do I pay for crafts? The Canteen account is also used to pay for materials in the Craft Room during free-time.
