For horse riders with no experience

Enjoy camp and also ride horses! Campers will learn how to groom and saddle their horse, steering and stopping, and mounting and dismounting. There will be some trail riding, as well as some arena games. Campers will not ride faster than a trot. The horses are owned by a local stable, so the group will travel by van each day.
There is still plenty of time spent doing all of the favorite camp activities, as well as time spent learning about God. Below is a sample schedule to show how much “Horse-time” and “Camp-time” are built into each day.
8:00 – Breakfast /Cabin Cleanup
9:30 – Stable Time
11: 30 – Back to camp/Wash up for lunch
12:00 – Lunch
12:45 – Quiet Time
1:30 – Free Time begins
2:30 – Canteen open
3:30 – Stable Time
5:30 – Supper
6:15 – Bible Study
7:15 – Worship
8:15 – International Activity
9:00 – Canteen
9:45 –Campfire
Parents and other important people are invited to join your camper for Closing Campfire when you pick your child up. Come share what they learned at camp!
Canteen will be open when you drop your camper off and when you pick your camper up, as well as periodically while they are here.
